I wanted to make a blog post to recap my experience participating in The Shoot & Share contest for the very first time and share my results with you!
To provide some context, the contest started with 332,768 photos submitted into 25 categories. Over 104,3784 people have voted from 141 different countries, and over 49 MILLION votes have been cast!!! The Shoot & Share Photo Contest is the world’s only free & fair photo contest. Each person can enter up to 50 photos in 25 categories. Anyone can enter photos, and it’s totally free! It is judged through the people, anyone can view the photos randomly and vote for their favorites. No one knows who took the photos, but everyone votes for the winners. The photos with the most votes win!

Out of the 50 pictures I submitted, 39 of them placed with awards! 8 of them made it to the Top 30% of the 332,768 photos submitted, 17 of them made it to the top 20%, 5 of them made it to the top 10%, 7 of them were awarded as Finalists which is the top 3.5% of all entries in each category , and 2 of them placed with 12th & 5th place ribbons!
I was so happy to see how far my images placed my first year to submit!! Thank you to my AMAZING clients who trust me to tell their stories, I couldn’t do this without you!
