Lauren wanted to have her engagement session in her hometown of Gainesville Texas, primarily on her parents’ and grandparents’ land. “I choose to do it there because I love going home and being in the country. I think it’s beautiful and so peaceful.”

Do you have any advice for future brides preparing for their engagement session?

“Relax and be natural for the pictures! I think you can definitely tell a difference in our body language/stiffness in the pictures we took first at the depot and the rest of the pictures once we got over our nerves!”

Where did you find out outfits?

“Outfits were from a little bit of everywhere the white one was RedDressBoutique.com, light blue was Nordstrom and the navy floral was Show Me Your Mumu.”

What was your favorite part of the engagement session?

“My favorite part was using the animals (despite the chaos)! What can I say we are suckers for anything with four legs and fur. Hahaha.”
