What Lenses I Have and What I Use Them For

For Fellow Photographers

Camera Bodies:
I have two, Canon 5d Mark ii
As a wedding photographer it is important to ALWAYS have backups!

Lenses:
Canon 35mm 1.4 L – This lens is great to use on the wedding day because it is a wide angle lens it allows you to fit in tight spots. Also because of it’s large aperture the bokah is quite nice.

Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon – THIS LENS IS SHARP! I’m extremely impressed with sigma! This is an amazing lens for half the price of Canon L series with arguably just as much punch. The 50mm is a good focal length for almost any occasion! They don’t call them nifty-fifty for nothing!

Canon 85mm 1.8 – This is a lovely portrait lens, especially for the price of under $400! This lens was my first lens to ever purchase and I still love it to this day.

Canon Macro 100mm 2.8 L -This one is fantastic for wedding details and beautifully captures wedding rings!

Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L – I primarily use this bad boy during the ceremony, because of it’s wide aperture it works great even in low light chapels & is cohesive with my style of shallow depth of field.

Shooting:
I am usually shooting at 1.8-2.8 for portraits or couples, and 3.5+ for families.
