A little bit of backstory from the bride:

Kris and I met our freshman year at Baylor University through a mutual friend. The first time we met was in a group setting when we went bowling and then we went to Whataburger. Kris stole a Whataburger number and gave it to me since I was always too scared to steal one (TRUE LOVE!!). We began dating after Christmas and had our first kiss on New Year’s Eve. We spent all the rest of college together and made some amazing friends along the way!!

Q: What was your style palette/color vision?

A:My vision for my wedding was always SUMMER. I wanted all of the warm and bright colors that make you happy when you see them. My favorite color is yellow, I know people think that is weird, but I wanted yellow and what better colors to go with it than pinks and oranges?!

The bridesmaids dresses described by the bride: I wanted a slate blue because I wanted the flowers to pop!

Q: What was your cake like?

A: The wedding cake was white cake with almond buttercream mixed with raspberry jam, and the grooms cake was red velvet and champagne cakes!

Advice for future brides: BREATH!! Eat!! I didn’t eat all day because I was so focused on being present and taking everything in, I got so lightheaded after the first look. Luckily I had awesome bridesmaids and an awesome caterer who fed me before the ceremony!!

Q: What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?

A:My favorite memory was exiting our ceremony and having a few sweet moments to ourselves to take it all in
