A little bit of backstory from the bride: Justin and I met in Washington DC almost 8 years ago. I was only there for the weekend and met him though a mutual friend (who would later become our officiant) at a dinner party. Justin and I talked all night until the early morning when I had to leave for the airport. For the next 4 years we were long distance and made frequent trips between Dallas and DC until Justin finally moved to Dallas… and the rest is history!
Q: What was your color palette and style vison?
A: Justin and I met in Washington DC almost 8 years ago. I was only there for the weekend and met him though a mutual friend (who would later become our officiant) at a dinner party. Q: What were your flowers like? A: I had a lot roses and hydrangeas. One of the things I really wanted was a floral circle for our ceremony as well as a flower wall.
It is so hard to pick just one! I think this picture is just really romantic and I remember the funny story behind the photo.
The bride shared her favorite memory from the big day: So hard to pick only one! I think having all our closest friends and family under one roof to celebrate with us. Since we live far from family, we don’t get to see them as often as we’d like. So it made us very happy to see everyone we love having a good time.
Q: What is your advice for future brides? A: It really does go by quickly, so try to absorb every moment! The most important thing at the end of the day is that you’re married and get to celebrate with your loved ones. Everything else is icing on the cake!
