Meet my friends Aubrey & Jake! I knew we were going to be instant friends when Aubrey told me they were going to serve breakfast food at their wedding. Also found out they go to The Village Church! My family has been going to The Village for years! small world 🙂

These two agreed to wake up at the crack of dawn to meet me at the lake for sunrise pictures (#dedication). We waited excited and expectant, but the warm sunrise was completely blocked by a blanket of clouds. But you know what, that didn’t phase them, I don’t think even pouring rain would have phased them, because they were just content and happy being in the moment together. AND THAT is what it is truly all about folks.

After we shot around White Rock Lake, we headed over Deep Ellum and explored all over, then we ended our session at one of Jake & Aubrey’s favorite coffee shops called Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters. I had so much fun hanging out with them, they are the type of people that it’s easy to loose track of time with. I cannot wait for their wedding this summer!
