A bit of backstory from the bride: Jacob and I met at Achievers Gymnastics Center when I was in 8th grade and he was in 9th. I was a competitive gymnast there and he was taking tumbling classes. On Valentine’s Day, I received a rose from a “secret admirer.” I had no idea who my secret admirer was until a couple months later during a practice close to Easter, when I received a stuffed animal and candy, and a note that had Jacob’s name on it. Although I originally decided that I didn’t like Jacob, we finally started dating during my senior year of high school and the rest is history!
The bride’s dress: My wedding dress was a super easy decision! I went shopping with my mom and sister, and the dress I ultimately decided on caught my eye the second I saw it. It was the first dress I tried on at The Bridal Boutique and I knew right away that it was the one! My dress had beautiful details in the lace and I loved the open back. It matched my bohemian style perfectly.
Q: What were the flowers like?

A: I really wanted a lot of flowers and greenery! I actually decided on our color palate after deciding which flowers I liked. The flowers I chose were a big part of my wedding day and I absolutely loved them.
The cake described by the bride: I absolutely loved my cake! It was simple and beautiful and included our wedding flowers! Jacob’s cake looked like a birch tree. Jacob built several decorations that were used in our wedding including our cake stands!
Q: What is your favorite pic from your wedding?

A:My favorite picture is the picture of our first kiss as husband and wife! I love this picture because it’s the moment that I always thought of when I thought about getting married, and it was such a special moment.
Q: What was your color palette and style?

A: Our colors were pink, purple, and blue! Our style was bohemian with a touch of country.
Advice from the bride: Take everyone else’s advice with a grain of salt. Ultimately it’s your special day, so do whatever is going to make your day the most special for you!

The bride’s favorite memory from the big day: It’s really difficult to choose a favorite memory! If I have to choose just one I would say that it was our private last dance. This was such a special moment for both of us.
