This wedding took place at The Baumberhof’s new ceremony space The Baumberhof Conservatory in Oklahoma City OK

From Blakeleigh, the bride. For the style of the wedding I always knew I wanted classic, and timeless. I said many times during the planning process, I was a classy ceremony and a fun reception! I think that I exactly what it was. I’ve always loved a classic white wedding, and my favorite color is blue so I wanted to incorporate pops of blue as well.

For the invitations I wanted classic white with hints of blue, and of course a drawing of the beautiful Baumberhof barn on them to give people a sneak peak of the day to come.
My advice for future brides would be to hire Emily Nicole photo!! But really, make sure your photographer and videographer has the same vision and inspirations as you. Those are the memories you will have to look back on for your lifetime. I knew I could trust the Emily Nicole team to capture our moments without a worry! Also, invest in a wedding planner! I would have been so lost without Keely with Embellished weddings. Between navigating work and school, there’s no way we could have juggled everything ourselves! Investing in professional vendors makes you feel stress free on your wedding day, and that should be the goal! You and your family should enjoy the day with no worries.
“Cade and I’s love story began in middle school. He claims that he pursued me in 8th grade and I turned him down, but I don’t remember it happening that way. We reconnected a few years later at the end of high school. We started out as friends but when we started hanging out it was game over and we were inseparable. We knew after a year of dating that we couldn’t be apart.. so when Cade decided he was going to play college football in Memphis we decided to go together and everyone thought we were crazy! We knew what kind of chance we were taking and we were willing to make the move together. It ended up being the best decision we ever made. We got out baby Blu our first year in Memphis and had 4 amazing years there. Memphis shaped who we are today and made our relationship what it is now”
When it came to choosing my wedding dress I always knew I wanted it to be strapless, timeless, and classic. Whenever I put it on in the store I knew it was the one immediately. I was comfortable and felt the most like myself in it. After a few months of getting it I knew I wanted to make it a little more custom. That’s when I found Tiffany at AVARI bridal and it was pure magic. I brought my vision to her and she created exactly what I wanted and so much more. From the custom shaw, the bow, and tails it was a fairytale dream dress. What was even better was that I felt like I had two different dresses all in one! I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
Bride Blakeleigh
From the Bride: My vision for the ceremony at The Baumberhof Conservatory was to feel like we were in a church as much as possible, the cross at the alter was most important to us to have in the room. The arched natural white flowers with greenery behind the cross that Poppy Lane created was so special and magical as well. Another big part of our ceremony, and wedding day in general was to incorporate our sweet baby Blu dog. She has been with us from the beginning of college and is our very best friend! She got to star as the flower girl and hang around for the after party on the dance floor. 💙
My favorite memory from that day would have to be the ceremony at the Baumberhof Conservatory. That was the time when I felt the most present and overwhelmed with the amount of love surrounding us. If I could freeze that moment and relive it a million times I would! Being surrounded by the people that love us the most and the love of God bringing us together all in one place was the most special moment I have ever experienced. Vowing to love one another in that moment with everyone there to witness was the easiest decision I have ever made.
For the cake I knew I wanted classic white with of course again, a hint of blue 😊 Amy Cakes is fabulous and created a beautiful classic white cake with a soft silk blue bow tied around it. The grooms cake represented Cades college football days at the University of Memphis and it was out of this world!
From the Bride: For the reception we wanted it to be open and fun! The indoor / outdoor atmosphere, the checkered dance floor, the band, the flower chandelier all brought everything together so perfectly! We wanted everyone to feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready to celebrate!
My favorite part of the reception was our first dance to “That’s How I Got To Memphis.” We heard the song played live in Memphis just a few months before the wedding day and we knew instantly it was the one. We were so thankful that Royal Dukes Band could play it live for us!
