Nicki & Peter met at Franciscan University of Steubenville. They dated through college and were wed at The Holy Family Catholic Church on July 3rd, 2016. It was truly beautiful to witness as not only these two people come together in a covenant marriage but it was also beautiful to see both their families uniting, supporting, and celebrating with them.Nicki was such a gorgeous bride, inside & out. She has a genuine spirit and is intentional in the way she loves. It blessed me to see her friends and family shower that love back onto her.
I used to live down the street from Nicki’s family growing up in Manassas, VA. My brother Coleton would play with Noah & Steve and I would get girl time with Nicki, Lexy, & Dani. I have so many fond memories growing up with them and their sweet family.
Not long after their wedding Nicki’s Brother Steve had a near death experience and could have died if it wasn’t for his fellow teammate Paul & a miracle from God. Throughout editing their wedding and seeing Steve’s smile again and again in the pictures it reminded me how precious life is and how important my job as a photographer is. These are moments we are not guaranteed and ones we will never get back.
I am so grateful and honored that Nicki & Peter shared their special day with me.
