A little bit of backstory from the bride:
Q: What was your style palette and color vision?
A: My color palette was shades of pink with gold accents. My vision was classic, elegant, and timeless.
The flowers described by the bride: My flowers were done by 21 Parc. They are AMAZING! I wanted to have big, tall flower arrangements that were the centerpoint of the reception area and John could not have done a better job at making my vision come to life.
Q: What was your dress like?
A: My dress was not at all what I thought it would be. I got it from Bridal Boutique in Lewisville and had the most wonderful experience while shopping there. My maid of honor, Rachel, wanted me to try on a gown that was opposite of my form fitting vision – I fell in love with the dress as soon as I put it on! I never wanted to take it off! It took me an hour of dress shopping to say yes to my Lea Ann Belter gown! Q: What was your cake like?
A: The cake was from Tastefully Yours. I told Ruth that I wanted something elegant and timeless and she drew up the perfect, five-tier cake with flowers. Reid wanted a grooms cake that involved Baylor and golf. The two tier grooms cake perfectly embodied both of those elements. John, from 21 park, had the idea to move the cakes into the cocktail area and I loved the color and elegance it brought to the space.
An extra sweet moment described by the bride:
The bride’s favorite memory from her big day: My favorite memory was getting to dance all night long with my favorite people! There is no better feeling than being surrounded by the people you love the most and celebrating the best day ever by dancing the night away!
Advice from Karly for future brides: Take it all in and don’t sweat the small stuff!!
