Intimate Backyard Oklahoma Wedding

Whitney and Chad’s intimate backyard Oklahoma wedding was beautiful. It was special to witness two people so in love and ready to make the commitment of marriage. Chad’s reaction seeing his bride come down the aisle, along with family and friends unable to hold back the tears said it all. One of my favorite pictures from their day is when they are walking back down the aisle together, now husband and wife, and Chad steals a quick kiss on Whitney’s hand. IT WAS SO SWEET!

From the Bride, “Chad, definitely my better half, is active duty Navy and we are stationed in Great Lakes, Il. He was born and raised in Austin, Tx and I myself am from sunny San Diego, Ca. We enjoy simple nights and swing dancing, though we may not be very good. We both have old souls and enjoy the classics. Last year we began a journey of tiny house living and currently live in a 39ft 5th wheel. We made the transition from a 2-story home and have survived this long, I think we’re a perfect fit! Anyways, with our families in 2 different states, we somewhat knew we wanted to do a small ceremony (with amazing photographer and videographer) with our parents, siblings, and close friends. A bit after, we plan to host 2 receptions (in each of our hometowns) in which we reveal our wedding photos and video (hence why we are wanting to find professional’s whom can really capture our small ceremony and all of the love) and then celebrate! We have the perfect opportunity in which both of our parents will be within 5 hours of one another and so we jumped on the opportunity to plan our dream ceremony!”

How fun is this, for their guest book they had their guests sign / decorate a jenga. Also fun fact, Whitney’s naked cake was homemade by her dad and was gluten-free!
